Breaking My Ankle Just Before Disney Grad Nite
February 5, 2010 4:48 am TravelI cannot believe my bad luck. I was playing basketball last week in a pick-up game after school at the outdoor basketball court. I suppose that I was trying to show off a bit. Anyway, I charged through the guys to do a fancy lay-up and came down hard on the side of my foot. My ankle just snapped like a branch. The pain was horrible, but a trip to the hospital resulted in getting the two broken bones reset. Now I have this huge cast on my foot, and Disney Grad Nite will be here before the cast is scheduled to be removed. I decided that I wouldn’t even bother to go, but my mom says that I will actually get special treatment for every ride and at every performance. Maybe this could work out yet.
